Menopausal Symptoms

acupuncture-treatment

The main symptoms associated with menopause include hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and general restlessness. Acupuncture and herbs are utilized together for these issues and results are usually seen in 2-3 weeks. It is my belief that because our lifestyles are filled with stress, environmental toxins, and inflammatory diets women enter menopause with preexisting hormonal disturbances. It is within this condition of imbalance that the hormonal changes of menopause occur causing very apparent symptoms. While acupuncture and herbs do not “cure” this problem, it does very effectively bring about a lessening of symptoms and greater sense of ease during this hormonal transition.
