PMS/Menstrual Pain

Usually menstrual irregularities such as pain, clots, mood swings, headaches, etc. are ironed out in one or two cycles. This is one of the top 5 things that Oriental Medicine is best at treating. Often I will have my clients continue herbal therapy after the course of acupuncture has had its effect.

These days many women are electing to get on birth control pill to regulate the period without knowing that Chinese Medicine can be just as effective. There is a lot of debate on the potential side effects of long term usage of birth control. In my experience, 95% of my clients who are having fertility problems have been on birth control for a number of years.
